TAYLOR WITH RESPECT is pleased to announce three new models and four new colors as part of its 2025SS collection.
In this edition of Tailoring News, we will be introducing one of our new models, the fog, at the world's fastest speed.
Well, here we go.
First, the specs...
Model name: fog
Size: 49□19-143
Material: Titanium / Titanium / Acetate
Available in 5 colors
List price: ¥ 63,800 (tax included)
This acetate combination model uses an original T-spine part on the front to increase the front strength. This is a Wellington with a larger lens shape than the other models in the brand. It is named "fog cloud" after the "Stratus" model, which has a similar design.

The nimbus, announced in 24AW, was a larger size of the cumulus, while the fog is a larger size of the stratus.
Taylor's collections are typically crafted to fit the niche, and this one is no different.
Stratus now comes in a size that can be recommended to customers who found it too small.
In short, it is a slightly larger Wellington with T-SPINE , but the coloring is combined with clear acetate fabric to show a variety of expressions.
The color that is particularly noteworthy is col.03, Light Navy.
It is a hazy navy with a transparent look with a hint of gray mixed in, making it a color that perfectly fits the name fog.

When viewed from the front, the way the navy fabric and T-SPINE overlap increases the complexity of the colors beyond that of a simple plastic frame , again giving it a misty feel.
In addition, the metal parts, including the T-spine, are finished in a sheared gray color, and even the screws are all gunmetal in color, which adds to the uniformity of the color scheme.
I am a little biased towards Light Navy because it is my personal favorite, but of course the other colors are also excellent.
The colors available are a real pain to buy, including Deep Black , which first appeared at the last Nimbus and was well received , Smoke Brown , which is now a Taylor classic, and Clear Green , which is only available at Stratus.
I saw on social media the other day from a certain retailer that there are no wasted colors for Taylor , and that is certainly true for the fog models, all of which are really great colors◎
I feel a bit embarrassed that I, as a salesperson, am praising it so much, as it may come across as being a bit pretentious, but I would like to close with a few words from the designer, Wakita-san.
"I wanted a large Wellington size model using T-SPINE. The fabric has a clear feel, so it fits comfortably against the skin and is easy to wear, even more so than the size suggests."

This concludes our introduction to the new Fog.
This is a piece that we would definitely recommend pairing with Stratus.
The first production run is scheduled to be delivered around spring, so we may be able to suggest adding color lenses before summer.
We look forward to seeing you at the exhibition in April.
