Thank you for always selling TAYLOR WITH RESPECT.
The other day, I received something that surprised me from a certain store, so I'd like to share it with you here.
This may seem like a trivial matter, but please be aware that this is not even listed on the brand's website.
There are two.
① About serial numbers
Serial number?
I'm sorry if that's what you thought. I just didn't explain it well enough.
Some of you may already know this, but I'll explain it anyway.
At TAYLOR WITH RESPECT, every frame we deliver is marked with a serial number.
It is also proof that the product has passed long and rigorous inspection.
This has been the case since the brand's inception. If this is the first time you've heard of it, get your hands on it now.
The printing location is on the inside of the left temple end .
union, col.04 Brown Demi
stratus, col.03 Clear Blue
So what do these numbers mean? They tell you the time of manufacture .
We keep track of everything, and we know when the frame was made.
Of course, no two models have the same numbers.
Regarding how the numbers are calculated...
You probably don't need to know this much, but just in case.
The numbering starts from 001. 001, 002, 003... 010, 011...
For example, suppose you make a new model and produce 20 pieces of col.01 and 30 pieces of col.02.
As shown above, col.01 will proceed with 001, 002, and so on up to 020.
Col.02 will be shaken continuing from col.01.
021, 022...until 050.
If there is col.03, it will start from 051.
If the model is subsequently reproduced.
The serial number will be assigned from the continuation of the last number.
If a total of 100 pieces were made in the initial lot, the col.01 that is reproduced will start from 101.
As far as how the numbers are assigned, it's fine to just understand that.
I've heard that hardcore fans will specify the serial number, or buy ones based on their birthday or a number sequence they like.
(*You cannot choose the serial number when we deliver the product.)
◎One announcement here
Currently, this serial number only indicates the manufacturing date,
Now, seven years after the brand's launch, the time has finally come when this serial number will take on great meaning .
I mentioned this to those who came to our spring exhibition, but it's that thing.
We are currently preparing to officially launch this year.
Once we have finalized the details, we will make an official announcement, probably in writing.
If you sell a Taylor after reading this article, please record the model, color, and serial number in your store's chart.
This is the information you need to proceed.
Please stay tuned for the official announcement.
One more thing,
Regarding the "max" printed on the inside of the right temple
I think there are many people who haven't thought about this.
Some people even thought the model name was "max."
The "max" printed on the product stands for our partner factory, MAX Co., Ltd.
They are a very important partner who handles Taylor's molds.
As a sign of respect, it is placed right next to the brand logo.
For more information about MAX, please take a look at the special page on the brand's website when you have time.
It's a very interesting read.

I have talked about these two points regarding printing.
I'm glad you learned more about Taylor.
Thank you for your continued support.
