This is the brand's first model to feature a hybrid bridge.
As is now common practice at Taylor, the bridge is not soldered and the front is made from a single piece of titanium.
Named after the cassette tape that connects the two reels, this frame gives off a feeling of both newness and nostalgia.
◎ Here's the point
When making a hybrid bridge out of a single piece of titanium, it is necessary to make the bridge thicker for strength reasons.
The reason is simple: it is prone to bending depending on its length and its position .
As a brand, we cannot produce any product that we feel may have even the slightest risk of being unsustainable when used over a long period of time.
This tape is also a few millimeters thicker than regular tape.
However, there is a clever twist here.
If the bag is thicker it can easily look heavy, but by adding a line on the front it looks slim and smart .
It's a technique that uses optical illusions.
This led to Taylor's design concept, called Highbridge.

But he thought about it for a bit before saying it, so I think he really meant it.
Their latest tape is a kind of new-age piece that is an ancient design reinterpreted by TAYLOR WITH RESPECT.

Note: Taylor has consistently referred to this as Highbridge, but it is also sometimes called Burbridge.
The image shows a rare item made of genuine tortoiseshell and black crystal lenses that is doubtful it would even be seen in a museum.

The Hybride is a truly ancient design.
The latest product, Tape, is extremely difficult to apply the lines on the front, and I've heard that it is by far the most difficult surface treatment we've done in recent years.
In fact, we had many discussions with each of our partner factories before finally making this a reality.
