TAYLOR WITH RESPECT will be announcing 4 new types and 1 new color as part of the 2025AW collection.
In this tailoring newsletter, we would like to introduce one of the new models,valley.
・First of all, specs

A new acetate combination that resembles the original part T-spine used on the front as a two-bridge wading.A unique front design that combines the crown panto form and two bridges.It is a model that feels like a brand, making use of each characteristic of design, function, and quality.
Model name valley (valley) is the name that meansvalleyas the name suggests.
*Valley - A river or valley between mountains, with many flat areas at the bottom. It is also described as a valley with deep, steep sides.As ifT-SPINE exists like a bridge over a valley, hence the name.
And this valley is the 8th model equipped with the original part "T-SPINE". The number of models usingT-SPINE has gradually increased since void, which was announced in 2022, and has now become an important model group that makes up the brand.
Since this is a good opportunity, I would like to tell you once again what kind of parts T-SPINE is.
(I have written this with a little bit of industry terminology. Please forgive me in advance.)

・T-SPINE
One of the original parts developed by TAYLOR WITH RESPECT.
A titanium reinforcing part that is built in along the inside of the front where the lens is inserted.
The plastic acetate, which is a common material for eyeglasses, is often used in TAYLOR WITH RESPECT because of its unique beautiful coloring and ease of processing.
However, there is also the risk that it may cause damage due to aging, or that it may not be able to maintain its original shape for many years and may become deformed.
In order to solve these problems, T-SPINE was developed as the most rational reinforcement part.
Actually, similar reinforcement parts have existed for a long time.
However, all of them use a technique called ``caulking,'' which involves layering plastic and metal and pressing metal fittings into the joints.
It gives a minimalist impression and has been used in the eyewear industry for many years, but there are many problems such as the joints inevitably becoming loose after long use, and if the plastic breaks, it is difficult to repair.
However, with TAYLOR WITH RESPECT, we did not do any ``caulking'' and instead used a method of fixing theparts with screws. With
screws, if they become loose, you can just tighten them again and there is no problem, and since they are not crimped, the individual parts can be easily disassembled, so in an emergency, all you need to do is replace the parts.
This T-SPINE is made by pressing hard and durable titanium, which is difficult to process, many times and then carving it out of a single thick plate.
The screw holes are precisely designed to fit securely into other parts, and it is one of the extremely important parts that embodies the precision manufacturing that the brand has been doing since the beginning.
It has a particularly high affinity with clear plastic, and the way the T-SPINE that draws a beautiful arc can be seen through the front gives a sense of luxury and functionality, and goes beyond the framework of a reinforcing part that is originally intended to be hidden.

Actually, this valley has a unique point in its color variations.
① TAYLOR WITH RESPECT Original acetate fabric
col.01's gradation black uses's original blend of acetate, the brand's first original color.By reflecting Taylor's signature gradation onto the fabric itself, we create a beautiful expression that gives you a deeper sense of the brand's worldview.
② First use of matte color
Surprisingly, I had never used black matte front plastic before.
This is my first attempt, but since I used a transparent material in addition to the original fabric, it didn't look monotonous, and the result wasn't too rugged.
Therefore, the color name is clear matte black.
③ Unnatural color No.
The valley announced this time has a total of 3 colors.
