The front appears to be entirely plastic at first glance, but the design combines metal temples for easy adjustment and comfort. This hybrid combination is the same style as the Bose frames released in the previous collection, which were well-received. The frame name "dune" also contains a double meaning, paying homage to Jodorowsky's unfinished masterpiece, the film "DUNE."
