Stratus is a model named after the cloud shape classification method devised by British meteorologist Luke Howard. The Wellington design features the acetate fabric visible on the front and various parts waving like stratus clouds. The T-spine part located at the lowest part of the front compensates for aging and strength of the acetate front.
